A little about us...

netInspired was established in late 2003 by Phil Rae B.Sc (Hons), while studying for an honours degree in Internet Computer Science at St.Andrews University.  The primary aim of the company was to provide professional Internet design and consultancy services, at an affordable price, to individuals and small businesses throughout the UK.

In 2004, netInspired managed to successfully establish contracts to develop several websites, databases, and content management systems.  More information on these can be found within the "Clients" section of this site.

Continuing the company's success, April 2004 saw netInspired become the proud winner of the runners-up prize for the annual St.Andrews SIE "QuantumLeap 2004" business plan competition, with the business proposal for a wireless broadband Internet solution within Phil's home town of Langholm.

More recently, September 2005 saw the opening of a new netInspired department - Photo:digitiser.  This entirely individual site aims to benefit from the expansion of digital photography, to offer a simple and low-cost photograph digitisation and editing service.  No longer must old photographs remain hidden away in shoe-boxes, under beds or in attics; this service aims to bring them into the digital-age alongside the hundreds of photos already accessible on users' computers from digital cameras.
